Homage to prof. Thomas N. Bisson (In Memoriam)
On Wednesday, June 3, from 15:30h to 16:45h, the IMMLleida will do an act in honour of Professor Thomas N. Bisson (1931-2025).
Participants: Paul Freedman (Yale University) and Isabel Grifoll (Universitat de Lleida).

Homage to prof. Jordi Bolós (Universitat de Lleida)
On Wednesday, June 3, from 18:00h to 19:00h will be held a round table in honour of Professor Jordi Bolòs, because of his retirement.
Participants: Imma Ollich (Universitat de Barcelona), Marta Sancho (Universitat de Barcelona) and Joan J. Busqueta (Universitat de Lleida).

Book presentation
On Thursday, June 4, from 13:00h to 14:00h will be held the presentation of the book Iglesia de Urgell: feudalización y reforma (1020-1150) (volume 28 of the Series "Verum et Pulchrum Medium Aevum").
Participants: Jaume Camats Campabadal (author) and Flocel Sabaté (responsible of the Series "Verum et Pulchrum Medium Aevum").

Excursion to Agramunt 🚌
Excursion by coach to Agramunt.
Guided by an expert from the Tourism Office, our excursion will be dedicated to the discovery of the medieval past of Agramunt: the bridges, the ruins of the walls, the Town Hall – where a small exhibition of medieval dresses is displayed – the church and the square.
The second part of the tour includes the visit to the “Casa de la Xocolata” where we will enjoy a cup of their renowned chocolate.
Our last stop will be at the “Museu del Torró i la Xocolata” (Torrons Vicens) where we will learn about the history of the “torrons” and the chocolate that made the Torrons Vicens company and Agramunt internationally recognised. We will enjoy a tasting of "torrons".
The tour will be in Catalan, Spanish and English.

Book presentation
On Friday, June 5, from 11:45h to 13:00h will be held the presentation of the book The Cambridge Urban History of Europe: Volume 2, Medieval and Early Modern Europe, edited by Patrick Lantschner and Maarten Prak, Cambridge University Press.
Participants: Maarten Prack (editor, Cambridge University Press) and Flocel Sabaté (one of the authors of the volume).

Homage to prof. Antoni Riera (In Memoriam)
On Friday, June 5, from 13:00h to 14:00h, the IMMLleida will do an act in honour of Professor Antoni Riera i Melis (1944-2025).
Participants: Jesús Contreras (Universitat de Barcelona), Jaume Dantí (Universitat de Barcelona), Maria Soler (Universitat de Barcelona) and Flocel Sabaté (Universitat de Lleida).
